Position Overview
Join the esteemed International Office of Newcastle University as part of our dedicated International Recruitment team, focusing on bolstering our student recruitment strategy in China. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in enhancing our global engagement and reputation, contributing significantly to our internationalisation objectives. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary ranging from £35,116 to £45,413 per annum, based at our vibrant Newcastle upon Tyne campus. Exceptional candidates will exhibit innovation, creativity, and proficiency in relationship management, primarily aimed at fostering connections within the Chinese, East Asian, and broader Asian markets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Assist in crafting and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy for China and potentially other Asian regions.
- Channel Management: Oversee various recruitment channels to optimize outreach and engagement.
- Reputation Building: Contribute to enhancing Newcastle University’s global presence and standing.
- Leadership and Coordination: Guide and coordinate efforts targeting the Chinese market, involving strategic travel.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven leadership capabilities in international education, sales, marketing, or student recruitment.
- An innovative mindset with a results-focused approach.
- Experience or familiarity with the Chinese and East Asian markets is desirable.
- Strong relationship-building and management skills.
