**Job Description:**
The International Recruiter at Texas State University is tasked with creating and executing recruitment strategies to attract international students. This role involves engaging with prospective students, educational agents, and international high schools worldwide. Successful candidates will demonstrate a deep understanding of international education, have excellent communication skills, and possess the ability to engage cross-culturally. The International Recruiter reports to the Senior Director of International Affairs.
**Job Duties:**
– Travel internationally to meet with agent partners, government entities, and prospective and admitted students.
– Develop in-person and virtual recruitment strategies to achieve international enrollment goals.
– Implement international recruitment strategies focused on attracting students to Texas State.
– Establish and sustain relationships with international recruiting agents, government bodies, and schools abroad.
– Design yield campaigns for prospective and admitted students.
– Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, guiding them through admissions, scholarship, and visa processes.
– Act as a liaison between international students and campus departments, ensuring their needs are met pre-arrival.
– Manage and update social media accounts and promotional materials targeted at international students.
– Oversee updates to the International Affairs website.
– Track and report on recruitment outcomes and analyze data to refine strategies.
– Manage the student ambassador program.
– Perform additional duties as required.
