University of the Arts London, London College of Communication

The opportunity presented is a crucial position within London College of Communication’s International Team, bridging the gap between the daily operations of the college’s international projects and exchanges, and the broader planning, development, and evaluation of its international engagement.

In this role, you will oversee the college’s student exchange programs and provide line management to the Student Exchange Administrator. Additionally, you will support the development of new global experiences and projects for the diverse creative community at the college.

The central focus of this work is to ensure that all international projects and exchanges at the college enrich students’ learning and equip them for success in a global environment. It is also important to promote equal access and opportunity for all students, regardless of their circumstances.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting students in gaining global experience and understands the value of incorporating diverse, global perspectives into academic programs. You should have experience in administrative processes that require meticulous attention to detail, particularly in relation to mobility programs and global partnerships. Experience in successfully managing projects from start to finish would be advantageous for this role. Effective planning and prioritization skills across multiple work streams are essential, as is the ability to solve problems confidently and take initiative when addressing day-to-day issues.

You should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and motivate others within and outside of your immediate team.

Cultural awareness is another important attribute, as you will be working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. We are dedicated to creating inclusive environments where all staff and students can be themselves and reach their full potential.
