**International Program Coordinator – International Programs & Study Abroad Office**

The Haslam College of Business (HCB) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is seeking an International Program Coordinator to join their International Programs & Study Abroad Office. This full-time, exempt position will report to the Assistant Director and focus on supporting students and faculty involved in study abroad programs. The role involves contributing to the college’s internationalization strategy, advising students on study abroad options, and managing relationships with foreign partners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Academic Advising & Program Development**
– Assist with academic advising, particularly for freshmen, to ensure a smooth transition and optimal course selection.
– Conduct curriculum audits to align international content with university standards.
– Represent HCB at national and international conferences to build institutional relationships.
2. **Program Administration & Student Logistics**
– Lead study abroad programs, ensuring safety and academic quality.
– Facilitate pre-departure preparations, including visa arrangements.
– Develop risk mitigation procedures and maintain program resources.
3. **Promotion and Marketing**
– Create and implement marketing strategies for study abroad programs.
– Organize events and manage the study abroad website.
4. **Program Support & Analytics**
– Support new program development and manage scholarship applications.
– Collect and analyze data to track trends and improve program offerings.
**Qualifications:**
– **Required:** Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with at least one year of experience in international education or related fields. Graduate assistant or practicum/internship experience counts as 1/2 time experience. A Master’s degree can substitute for one year of experience.
– **Preferred:** Master’s degree, public speaking experience, proficiency in a foreign language, and experience living or studying abroad.

– Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to cultural diversity.
– Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
– Willingness to work flexible hours and travel internationally.
