Position Summary:
The primary objective of this role is to coordinate the overseas work placement opportunities for College students participating in the Turing Scheme. As the main point of contact for overseas coordinators, you will utilize your excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure the success of the College’s European placement program. This will require flexibility to work outside of office hours and on weekends when students are overseas.
Responsibilities:
– Recruit internal students who are interested in participating in overseas work placements
– Ensure that all parties involved in the placements understand and adhere to the required policies and processes
– Perform administrative duties such as booking student interviews, maintaining spreadsheets, managing information on Google Classroom, and arranging airport transfers
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in an administration role, including customer relationship management, use of IT packages, and travel/accommodation booking
– Ability to work flexibly to meet deadlines
– Experience engaging learners and promoting opportunities through marketing
Department Information:
You will report to the Student Services Team Leader and receive regular operational support and updates on the Work Abroad schemes. You will collaborate closely with the Erasmus Team, Curriculum Managers, and other staff members to ensure effective communication and support for learners.
