We are seeking an International Partnership Manager to join our International Recruitment Team. This role supports the implementation of the University’s Internationalisation and Student Recruitment strategies, enhancing the student experience both in Edinburgh and globally with our international partners.
Our International Recruitment Team focuses on promoting the University abroad and executing the International Recruitment Strategy across eight regions: Africa, the Americas and Caribbean, Asia Pacific and Oceania, China, Europe and Eurasia, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The team collaborates closely with various stakeholders to boost student recruitment from target markets at all study levels.

**The Role:**
As the International Partnership Manager, you will lead and manage international student recruitment and institutional partnerships in key regions for the University. Your role will involve the strategic development and management of the University’s international recruitment efforts in the Africa, Middle East, and South Asia regions, ensuring alignment with institutional targets.
Additionally, you will be instrumental in representing the University during overseas visits, focusing on recruitment and partnership markets. This includes promoting Edinburgh Napier at educational fairs and targeted visits, while developing and nurturing relationships with partner universities, agents, sponsors, and external stakeholders across the region.
You will lead and manage a regional team of staff based in the UK and abroad, focused on enhancing international student recruitment from Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to become a subject matter expert, spearheading the university’s advancements in this area, forming new partnerships in key regions, and fostering robust collaboration with diverse networks globally. Please note that international travel will be a regular part of this role.
**About You:**
– Extensive experience in international student recruitment
– Proficient in negotiating and managing international partnerships
– Experience in budget management and line management
– Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and a network of contacts
– Fluency in a relevant second language (spoken and written) would be advantageous
