Job Title: International Officer for Europe and the Americas
Employment Type: 1 full-time equivalent (fte)
Contract Duration: Fixed Term (1 year Maternity Cover)
Salary: UH7 £35,333 pa- £38,592 pa with potential to progress to £42,155 pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
Location: College Lane Campus, Hatfield

As part of our team, you will contribute to our efforts in developing and maintaining relationships in key markets in Europe and the Americas.
Main responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the University’s international agenda within the Europe and Americas region. Specifically, your duties will include managing sales and recruitment channels, achieving international student recruitment targets, representing the University at international higher education events and conferences, fostering partnerships with overseas institutions, and overseeing marketing and sales activities with these institutions, agents, and sponsor bodies. Providing exceptional service to both external and internal stakeholders is a key aspect of this position.
Required skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in international student experience, as well as knowledge of admissions and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Experience in identifying and developing new student recruitment markets, both in commercial and public sector settings, is essential. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of establishing international partnerships and implementing international strategies.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a degree or equivalent qualification, or substantial proven work experience, is required for this position.
