The International Officer, a key member of the Admissions and Enrolment Team within Student and Academic Services (SAS), collaborates with various colleagues across The Courtauld. This role involves providing proactive support for international activities, championing international admissions and recruitment efforts, and guiding initiatives to advance the institution’s internationalization goals.
The post-holder will also partner with the Marketing and Communications Team and the Advancement Team to coordinate international recruitment activities for The Courtauld. Additionally, this role supports broader professional services teams and academic colleagues with recruitment and communication tasks as needed.
Qualifications include:
– Experience in a university or educational environment
– Background in student recruitment and admissions
– Expertise in coordinating and planning student recruitment events
– Experience in strategy development, including setting objectives and considering operational aspects
– Strong communication skills and ability to handle challenging inquiries calmly
– Proven presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively to diverse staff
– Willingness and capacity to work and travel abroad, including some weekends and irregular hours
– Experience in managing a small team
