Role Description:

Queen Mary University of London is in search of an International Officer (Agents, Schools and Sponsor Relations) who will work with the Global Engagement team. The GEO is part of the External Relations Directorate and is responsible for recruiting International Students, promoting student mobility options and leading the university’s international partnership activities. The International Officer (Agents, Schools and Sponsor Relations) will support the International Student Recruitment and International Partnership teams. The role requires managing the University’s network of overseas agents, coordinating with the international school sector, and supporting work with sponsor bodies. This position is perfect for those who want to gain experience in both student recruitment and partnership activities.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an interest in international education and student mobility. Good communication skills and the ability to manage a busy workload are essential. Previous experience in higher education is not required, but we expect the successful candidate to travel and represent the university both overseas and in the UK.

This position is a full-time permanent appointment based in Whitechapel, London (Department W). The expected start date for the role is 1st August 2023, and the starting salary ranges from £37,348 to £43,592 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
