What Is the Job?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the International Relations Office (IRO) at the University of Bath-a dynamic and fast-paced team responsible for advancing the university’s global reach, reputation, and opportunities. The role offers a unique blend of administrative, strategic, and student-focused responsibilities within the field of international education.

As part of this team, you will help manage and promote study abroad and exchange programmes, with a specific emphasis on administering funding schemes (such as those supporting students who study or work abroad). Beyond this, you will have the chance to contribute to the creation of new short-term international mobility opportunities for outgoing University of Bath students. This role directly contributes to shaping global learning experiences that broaden students’ academic, cultural, and professional horizons.

In addition, you’ll work in a supportive, innovative environment that champions collaboration across two key teams within the IRO:

  1. The Partnerships Team: Focused on establishing and maintaining international collaborations, managing global rankings submissions, and engaging with international ministries, sponsored students, and transnational education efforts.
  2. The Mobility Team: Responsible for facilitating international mobility programs such as the Turing Scheme, exchange programmes, and short-term overseas visits for students and staff.

This position involves interacting with a broad range of stakeholders-from international students and university staff to external partners-all while working to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality outcomes.
