The Role: We are offering an exciting new role that will collaborate with the Manager of International Business Development and our Marketing and Communications Team to develop our International Student Marketing Plan. This position can be based at either our Hobart or Launceston campus. The International Marketing and Recruitment Lead will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging international marketing campaign to attract and enroll international students at TasTAFE. This role will include organizing recruitment events, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions. The Lead will also assist with international business development initiatives and provide reports on international education and marketing trends.

About You: Our ideal candidate is a results-oriented marketing professional with a strong focus on understanding the target audience, building relationships, and implementing successful campaigns. Experience in the vocational education and training international sector, particularly in driving international marketing strategies and managing relationships with education agents, is highly desired. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate cross-culturally, are essential. Fluency in a language other than English is a plus but not required. Ultimately, we are looking for an energetic and driven individual who wants to contribute to our mission of promoting TasTAFE as a preferred training organization internationally.

Essential Requirements: If selected for a role at TasTAFE, you must possess or be willing to obtain the following: current registration to work with vulnerable individuals in Tasmania, Australian permanent residency or a valid work entitlement visa in Australia.

Desirable Requirements: Previous experience in VET international education, fluency in an additional language other than English, a current driver’s license, and the ability to travel for business purposes.
