The International Admissions Counselor position is responsible for providing recruitment, advisory, and support services relating to admission applications for international students, mainly for graduate programs. The duties include managing the recruitment cycle, from initial inquiry to enrollment status, and helping students settle in their dorms or residences, counseling students, collaborating with partnership programs, adhering to the state and federal accreditations, and providing immigration policies and regulations’ compliance. Additionally, the position requires the Designated School Official (DSO) through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), and only applicants who have U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status can apply.
