The Role
The primary purpose of this position is to represent the University on an international scale, promoting our brand and attracting international students to both our campuses. The role involves marketing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, short courses, and summer schools, as well as exploring opportunities for online learning and Transnational Education (TNE).
The Team
This role is part of the YSJ Global Team at our York campus. Working closely with the Head of Global Academic Partnerships, the successful candidate will be responsible for meeting international student recruitment targets. This will involve managing a budget, identifying market opportunities, and developing recruitment strategies tailored to different markets. Collaboration with our academic schools to establish and maintain international partnerships will also be a key aspect of the role.
Required Skills and Experience
Exceptional customer service skills are vital, as the role requires close collaboration with applicants, agencies, partners, and departments at both the York and London campuses.
Additional Information
This position will involve both domestic and international travel, as well as periods working away from home.
