SOAS University of London is a leading institution in Europe, specializing in the study of Asia, Africa, and the Near and Middle East. As part of this, the Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions (MSRA) team plays a key role in ensuring student number targets are met through effective recruitment and admissions processes.

The MSRA team is responsible for developing and delivering engaging marketing campaigns to promote the values and benefits of studying at SOAS. They also engage in recruitment activities across various markets, including the UK, EU, and international locations, in order to attract well-qualified applicants to both on-campus and online learning programs.

In the Admissions department, the team focuses on delivering a professional and fair applicant experience. They provide advice to academic departments on admissions processes and serve as the central repository for qualifications expertise.

The MSRA team works closely with other central professional services at SOAS, such as Partnerships, Registry, Student and Academic Services, IT, Legal and Governance, Estates, and all academic departments.

The role of the Administrative Assistant is to provide support to the Recruitment team by processing invoices, responding to email inquiries, and managing freight orders. They also play a crucial role in maintaining relationships with agent representatives in various markets, overseeing agreements, training, commission claims, and payments.

Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will assist in organizing visits, open days, marketing events, and recruitment activities, which may involve travel across the UK and internationally.
