**Department Overview**
The International Business Development (IBD) team is part of the Marketing and Student Recruitment department and works within the Communications and External Relations Section. The IBD team coordinates a variety of international engagement and business development activities, including sponsor management, progression link partnerships, international visits and delegations, study abroad recruitment, and bespoke short courses and summer programs for a diverse range of international stakeholders.
**Role Duties**
We are excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive International Business Development Officer. This role focuses on expanding our study abroad and bespoke short program offerings. Collaborating with colleagues across the university and partners abroad, you will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to grow revenue from these programs. This will involve creating business proposals and managing the development and delivery of the programs.
**Skills and Qualifications Required**
– A degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
– Relevant administrative experience in the higher education sector is desirable.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong administrative and financial management skills.
– Experience in managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
– A solid understanding of Study Abroad and the competitive international education environment.
– Willingness to undertake evening and weekend work, and potentially some international travel (with time off in lieu).
