UniSQ International is responsible for the marketing of the University and its programs at an international level, the recruitment and admission of international students, and the establishment and management of international partnerships. UniSQ International provides a range of engagement services to ensure a strategic approach across the University in relation to international education opportunities. The team is recognised as the driving force in terms of building UniSQ’s profile and performance in the international space.

The International Admissions team has direct contact and liaises extensively with prospective students, academic staff and professional staff across UniSQ, to provide client service and maintain a high-level knowledge of internal and external systems, the University’s program offerings, University policy and procedures, legislative compliance and international visa regulations.

What you’ll do

The International Admissions Officer is a key contact with UniSQ for prospective international students and has critical responsibility for supporting student, partner and agent enquiries and management of the UniSQ student relationship during the prospective student enquiries, first admission and enrolment.

Reporting to the International Admissions Coordinator, you will apply your expertise to:

  • Act as the key contact for prospective students and support student, partner and agent enquiries.
  • Undertake timely and comprehensive processing of international student applications for enrolment into UniSQ programs.
  • Ensure administrative processes relevant to international applications and student admissions are aligned with UniSQ policies, Government ESOS legislation and support the UniSQ brand.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment caseload of international students from first enquiry/application through to assessment, offer and enrolment through to census date.
  • Efficiently implement the University’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes and utilise CRM technology to enable measurement of the effectiveness of service delivery and student recruitment activities.

  • An ability to build and maintain a network of external relationships including UniSQ agents, organisations and UniSQ partners.
  • A high-level ability to respond actively and with understanding to the needs of students and the ability to initiate actions to achieve positive relationships with customers from a diverse set of backgrounds.
  • A proven track record in working in a high-volume environment with speed, accuracy and attention to detail for data entry.
  • Ability to problem-solve issues that may arise to ensure the experience of internal and external partners is meeting UniSQ’s expectations.
  • Excellent cross-cultural and interpersonal communication skills, including an ability to draft accurate and concise correspondence regarding student management issues.
  • A proven ability to work equitability and ethically in a collaborative team environment whilst demonstrating initiative and resilience.

Salary: Total remuneration range $84,342 to $95,655 pa (includes salary range of $71,265 to $80,824 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
