The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join its International Admissions team. This position is a pivotal role within the Admissions department, tasked with providing an efficient and timely service for the recruitment and admission of international students into UWTSD. As an Accredited Living Wage Employer, UWTSD is committed to offering pay rates that reflect the Voluntary Living Wage, with an adjusted salary range of £26,707 to £30,378 per annum.
About the Role
As a member of the International Admissions team, you will play a crucial part in helping prospective students transition from recruitment to enrolment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the admission of international applicants while ensuring compliance with UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) regulations and other relevant guidelines.
- Collaborating with internal departments such as Student Engagement, Registry teams, and academic staff to ensure efficient admissions processes across the University’s Birmingham campuses and, when required, other campuses during peak periods.
- Liaising with external agencies, contributing to the smooth journey of international applicants.
- Assisting senior managers and staff by disseminating applicant-related updates and reports.
- Working independently and demonstrating initiative in meeting deadlines, while remaining flexible to travel between the University’s multiple campuses based on operational demands.
Your knowledge of UKVI regulations, attention to detail, and ability to provide on-campus support will be essential in achieving the University’s international enrolment goals.
