### Job Description:
Northern State University is in search of a Coordinator for International Recruitment. The International Admissions Counselor will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies for recruiting, admitting, and orienting international students to the university.

#### Key Responsibilities:
– Act as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) to ensure full compliance with the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), including managing and maintaining student records.
– Maintain the university’s standing with the US Government and manage immigration portfolios while advising international students and related stakeholders on program operations.
– Provide guidance to international students on various matters, such as employment, health insurance, and academic progression, and assist with the issuance of I-20 forms for the F1 Student Visa.
– Coordinate and participate in international student outreach initiatives and marketing efforts, including international recruitment fairs, both in-person and virtual.
– Develop external partnerships to support recruitment goals.

### Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
– At least one year of professional experience, ideally as a Designated School Official (DSO) with SEVIS.
– A solid understanding of federal immigration laws and regulations and the ability to exercise discretion in complex situations.
– Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to engage with diverse populations.
– Experience creating and delivering professional presentations.
