The Role: The International Admissions and Compliance Lead position is a crucial role within our international education team, which forms a vital part of TasTAFE International. As part of a newly formed team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of international programs at TasTAFE. This role will focus on contributing to and working within established administrative and compliance processes and systems related to international student applications, admissions, and enrolment variations during their study at TasTAFE. Additionally, the role involves accurate data collection and analysis to inform future planning and ensure that recruitment and admissions processes comply with relevant legislation. The position is available at either our Hobart or Launceston campus locations.

About You: We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our impactful team. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a vocational education and training (VET) environment and demonstrate understanding of the requirements for managing international education programs in Australia. Excellent cross-cultural communication skills are essential, and the candidate must have the passion to train, guide, and mentor people while providing exceptional customer experiences. While not essential, fluency in an additional language other than English is preferred.

Essential Requirements: To be considered for a role at TasTAFE, you must hold, or be willing to obtain, the following:

– Current Registration to work with vulnerable people in Tasmania
– Australian permanent residency or valid visa with work entitlement in Australia

Desirable Requirements: The following are desirable but not essential requirements for this role:
– Previous experience in VET international education
– Fluency in an additional language other than English
– Current Driver License
