Join our International Students’ Compliance Team and embark on an exciting, diverse role that involves collaborating with academic and professional personnel and students across the University. The team’s primary objective is to guarantee the University’s compliance with all UKVI standards and legislation, while managing and implementing the Federal Aid Loans programme. Our advisers are capable of imparting knowledge, advice, and guidance on compliance and Federal Aid, ensuring that students and staff benefit from experienced counsel. We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment, with a hybrid working arrangement that blends remote and on-campus work.

You will:
- Assist with UKVI compliance requirements to enable the university to support student sponsorship, including record-keeping, procedures, and audit preparation.
- Manage the US Federal Loan process for eligible students, which includes responding to enquiries and meeting audit requirements.
- Serve as an authority on the laws and regulations governing the right of international students to study in the UK.
- Provide specialised guidance and support to students and faculty on immigration, compliance, and Federal Aid.
- Assist in the development of methods for monitoring student engagement.
You should possess:
- Strong attention to detail skills and confidence in working with data
- An understanding of and ability to operate within complex regulations and procedures
- The ability to work well in a team environment with colleagues
- Experience in working with financial data or monitoring student attendance
According to UKVI regulations, the appointee must be an EEA or Swiss citizen (with pre-settled or settled status under the EU settlement scheme), indefinite leave to remain/enter permission holder, or a British/Irish national. Applications that meet this threshold will be considered.
