The salary range for this position is £35,758 to £40,741 pro-rata, with the opportunity to advance to £43,604. This is a full-time, open-ended position, subject to funding.
The International Growth Centre (IGC) focuses on promoting sustainable development in developing nations by offering demand-driven policy advice founded on cutting-edge research. The IGC manages a global network of leading researchers and teams in Africa and South Asia, working in close partnership with governments to produce high-quality research and policy recommendations on significant growth challenges.
As an IGC Programme Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the IGC. You will oversee project proposals from approval to contract, ensuring they align with agreed work plans. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the London Hub and internationally-based IGC colleagues, and actively engaging in streamlining various processes within the hub.
Candidates should possess:
– Project management experience
– Excellent IT skills
– Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
– Experience in implementing, monitoring, and improving processes
The role is based in the IGC Head Office at LSE, located in central London. It is a full-time position on an open-ended basis, subject to funding. The starting salary is £35,758, with potential for progression. Exceptional candidates may be considered for a higher starting salary within the band.
