We are seeking applications for the position of Head of Partnerships and Science within the Engineered Pandemics Risk Management Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and leading the Programme’s strategy to achieve significant impact by cultivating and maintaining collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders. This role involves spearheading the Programme’s communications and impact strategies, coordinating research fundraising endeavors, and managing postdoctoral researchers and graduate students, with a particular focus on the biological and modelling aspects of the Programme. Additionally, the role-holder will actively establish a sustainable pipeline of strategic partnerships.

Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant field such as risk studies, science and technology studies, epidemiology, or molecular biology. Those with significant experience in science policy and risk studies are especially encouraged to apply.

This position is initially funded for two years and can be taken on a part-time or full-time basis. While hybrid working arrangements are possible, the candidate must be based in or near Cambridge and must work at least three days per week (adjusted for part-time) at CRASSH or a similar university location in Cambridge, unless travel to other sites is part of the role.
