We are currently seeking a Head of International Student Recruitment to join our ELICOS & Pathways division. In this role, you will work at ECA’s English Language school (ELSIS) and ECA College, located in the heart of Sydney CBD. Since its establishment in 1991, ELSIS has been delivering English courses to international students from diverse backgrounds. We have a strong track record of preparing and guiding students for pathways into Australian Universities, both for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

As the Head of International Student Recruitment, you will work closely with the General Manager at ELICOS & Pathways Division. Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive growth and diversification in the international student population. You will be responsible for managing and supporting international recruitment managers both onshore and offshore.

Key responsibilities include:

– Leading the development of the ELICOS & VET international recruitment framework and implementing effective marketing strategies to achieve annual intake targets.
– Anticipating and addressing emerging issues to ensure smooth operations.
– Managing and expanding a network of education agents to promote and sell programs to prospective international students.
– Leading and supporting your team in recruitment, training, performance management, and development.
– Staying updated on changes in the market, admissions requirements, and course information.
– Ensuring compliance with the ESOS Act and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
– Conducting in-market data/competitor analysis for ECA Programs.

The ideal candidate will have an educated degree or equivalent qualification, along with relevant work experience in student recruitment and marketing. Strong leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to establish and manage relationships with various stakeholders. Experience in developing and implementing international student recruitment strategies is highly desirable. Proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish languages would be an advantage.
