Job Overview:
The Head of International at St Mary’s University is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the International Student Recruitment and Study Abroad teams. The primary goal of this role is to craft and execute effective strategies for attracting international students, ensuring that recruitment targets are met. Additionally, the role includes managing the International team, overseeing budgets, handling agent relationships, leading marketing initiatives, and maintaining thorough reporting processes. This position is crucial for advancing the university’s international presence and student diversity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement international student recruitment strategies.
- Achieve recruitment targets and manage recruitment budgets.
- Oversee relationships with recruitment agents.
- Lead international marketing initiatives.
- Ensure effective reporting and documentation.
- Manage and develop staff within the International team.
- Perform duties both on-campus (at least three days per week) and sometimes overseas.
