Oxford Brookes University is seeking to hire a Head of Global Recruitment to join their Professional Services team. The university is focused on expanding its global reach and the Global Recruitment Team plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. The team works towards internationalizing the student experience, carrying out marketing and recruitment activities globally, and expanding outreach in various markets through international representatives and partnerships.

The Head of Global Recruitment will work within the Global Recruitment Team in the Marketing, Recruitment, and Engagement directorate, contributing to the university’s global strategy.

Overall Purpose of the Position:

Reporting to the Director of Global Recruitment, the Head of Global Recruitment will lead the global recruitment team and drive recruitment strategy. This role is key in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to meet the university’s objectives. The post holder will work closely with the Director of Global Recruitment, providing leadership and vision, and may also deputize as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates for this role should have:

– A strong track record in international student recruitment and surpassing targets
– Experience leading high-performing teams, including remotely-based teams
– Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to communicate a clear vision
– Expertise in stakeholder engagement to facilitate organizational change
– Experience in leading and implementing transformation in a fast-paced environment
– Experience working internationally and leading teams in different global locations
– Experience operating at senior levels and in senior committees
– Experience managing large budgets
