**Role Overview**
We are looking for an experienced Head of Global Partnerships to join our successful Global Engagement Team. As we prepare to launch a new university strategy, your main responsibility will be aiding the Associate Director of Global Engagement in executing and delivering the University’s Global Engagement strategy. This includes identifying and developing new business opportunities globally that align with our strategic goals.
**Your Profile**
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience in international higher education partnerships and transnational education. You should have proven expertise in initiating and managing such partnerships, ensuring alignment with business processes, risk management, and quality assurance standards. A deep understanding of the landscape of international partnership development, including Transnational Education (TNE), is essential. You will play a key role in sustaining Sussex’s current TNE partnership in Zhejiang Province and developing a new partnership in China.
You will supervise the work of Global Partnerships Managers and collaborate closely with the Global Partnerships Team, which includes Partnerships Administrators and a Partnerships Development Manager located in Hangzhou. Additionally, you will work with the Heads of Global Mobility and Global Programmes, in alignment with the Associate Director International, to advocate for global engagement within the university.
Externally, you will engage with international institutions, ministerial bodies, embassies, and relevant forums to champion Sussex’s global education, research, and engagement efforts.
