Contract Type:
This is a fixed-term contract starting in May 2024 and lasting for one year.

Faculty:
This position is within the Professional Services faculty.

Salary:
The salary for this role is Grade 8, ranging from £46,974 to £56,021 per annum. There is the potential to progress to £63,029 through sustained exceptional contribution.

We are looking for individuals who are highly collaborative with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to lead our newly formed Faculty Hubs. In this role, you will report to the Deputy Director of Marketing and Student Recruitment and be part of the leadership team for the Student Recruitment and Marketing Service at the University. Your main responsibility will be to lead and direct the relationship between the shared central service and the faculty and academic departments. You will oversee the planning and execution of marketing activities and events aimed at student recruitment in the faculty or department, with the goal of achieving our student recruitment targets.

As the leader of a team consisting of marketing, recruitment, access, and events specialists, you will have the opportunity to shape their ways of working and delivery systems. You will serve as their clear link to decision-making processes and be comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders. In addition to overseeing promotional activities, you will also contribute to decision-making regarding the portfolio.

This role requires extensive marketing and recruitment expertise, as well as a passion for higher education and experience in leading through change. You will be responsible for leading the Faculty Hub team and will be part of the leadership team of a larger central team comprised of marketing, recruitment, and events professionals.
