Job Title: Grant Administrator II – Research (Job ID: 533174)

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Center’s Assistant Director of Administration with the administration of grants.
  • Collaborate closely with Principal Investigators (PIs) to ensure compliance with grant regulations and monitor budgets and expenditures.
  • Manage daily administrative transactions related to Human Resources (HR) in partnership with the Office of Research Economic Development (ORED).
  • Support PIs in developing funding opportunities, preparing and modifying grant budgets, and ensuring adherence to sponsor guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and conduct audits to prevent budget deficits.
  • Process requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor payments, ensuring compliance with university policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of grant or contract administration experience OR Certified Research Administrator (CRA) with similar experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and six years of relevant experience will be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a research administration environment.
  • Familiarity with contract management.

Salary: $60,000 – $65,000

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
