SOAS University of London
SOAS University of London, Europe’s top higher education institution specializing in the study of Asia, Africa, and the Near and Middle East, is undergoing a period of renewal and revitalization. With a new strategic plan in place, we are committed to both student responsiveness and research intensity. As part of this plan, we are moving towards a new model of international partnerships that acknowledges the transnational nature of global challenges.
To facilitate these partnerships, we are seeking two Global Partnerships Managers to develop and implement new collaborations. The Global Partnerships team, reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, supports the implementation of SOAS’ global partnerships strategy, particularly in building equitable partnerships with institutions in the Global South. Our aim is to deliver world-leading teaching and research, enhancing the academic experience through collaboration with overseas institutions.
The roles of the Global Partnerships Managers are crucial to the implementation of our strategic plan. They involve managing existing partnerships and developing new ones, working closely with academic colleagues to support collaboration and joint provision with international partners. Additionally, the postholders will establish relationships with key Professional Services areas to ensure consistency in curriculum development and quality assurance between SOAS and potential overseas partners. These roles may require overseas travel as necessary.
