Swinburne University is seeking a Global Partnerships Coordinator to join our Global Relations team. To excel in this role, consider the following qualifications and experiences, especially from an international perspective:

  1. Administrative Expertise: Prior experience in office administration within an educational setting is crucial. Familiarity with international policies and procedures will be an advantage.
  1. Organizational Skills: You must demonstrate high-level organizational skills, including managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines, all while operating with minimal supervision.
  1. Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, particularly in drafting presentations and reports for senior staff. Experience in communicating across cultures will be beneficial.
  1. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and public relations skills are key, as you will liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders globally.
  1. International Education Experience: Knowledge of the Australian educational landscape and its international frameworks is preferred. If you’re applying from abroad, highlight any similar experiences from your home country, and express your willingness to quickly adapt to local systems.
