Queen’s University Belfast is currently recruiting a Global Opportunities Development Officer to join their Directorate of Education and Student Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the University Exchange and other international mobility programs. Their main focus will be on developing opportunities for Queen’s students to participate in international mobility programs, enhancing their employability and personal and professional growth.
Key responsibilities will include managing and monitoring funding and compliance requirements, as well as providing management information and analysis to ensure targets are met within budget and timeframe.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a degree or equivalent qualification and have significant experience in client-facing roles. Relevant experience in managing international student mobility programs and familiarity with budget management, grant calculation, and compliance requirements in relation to international student mobility funding schemes, such as the Turing Scheme, are also required. Experience in managing staff, financial resources, and information resources to provide high-quality services to diverse clients is essential. Additionally, experience in providing specialist advice to staff and students within the higher education sector on international mobility programs, as well as analyzing complex information to inform decision-making, is desired.
