The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is currently seeking a Global Network Programme Manager for the newly established Global Cardiovascular Research Funders Forum (GCRFF). This role will involve coordinating various aspects of the GCRFF, such as international events, communications, governance, and finances. The Programme Manager will work closely with the Chair and Deputy Chair to plan meetings and coordinate papers and presentations.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for global collaborations and addressing global issues. They will possess excellent diplomatic and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with internal colleagues and international partners. Additionally, the candidate should be able to interact professionally and appropriately with high-level constituents and stakeholders.

Candidates should have a good understanding of medical research and governance and experience in addressing logistical challenges in managing international partnerships or associations. They should also have experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment and building relationships and partnerships on an international scale. The candidate should be adaptable, fast to learn, and capable of working independently. Strategic planning, monitoring, and reporting skills are necessary, as well as excellent organisation and time-management abilities to oversee a complex portfolio of activities.

This is a 2-year fixed term contract, and the work will be a combination of remote work from home and work at the BHF’s London office. The role may involve international travel and occasional work outside standard office hours for international conference calls.
