Job Description

About Us

At King’s, our community is dedicated to serving society. Our Strategic Vision 2029 outlines our goals for the future, centered around five priority areas: inspiring and improving education, informing and innovating through research, shaping and transforming through service, being a civic university in London, and fostering an international community that serves the world. Our Education Strategy sets out the steps we are taking to transform how we teach, support our students, and provide a compelling learning experience.

Join our small, close-knit professional services team and contribute to our international partnerships as part of our Education and International strategies. The Global Mobility Office is a student-facing and external-facing team of eleven within the Student Success Division. This division also includes departments such as Social Mobility & Widening Participation, Student Transition & Outcomes, King’s Careers & Employability, and Interdisciplinary Education.

Student Success is part of the larger Student & Education Directorate, which consists of various professional services tasked with supporting King’s students and their education. As a directorate, we oversee the entire student lifecycle, ensuring a seamless student experience and effective administrative processes in collaboration with King’s faculties.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and flexible team player with excellent administrative skills and intercultural sensitivity to support our international partnerships and the student opportunities they provide.

The role entails working with various professional services teams to guide and support King’s staff and partner institutions in negotiating, managing, and implementing mobility partnership agreements. Responsibilities will include program administration, student support, and fostering international relationships. There may also be some involvement in contractual negotiation and writing. While there are no direct reporting responsibilities, the role holder will delegate relevant tasks to Global Mobility Peer Advisors, a group of students who have returned from studying abroad and work with our team to support other students.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who want to apply their skills and knowledge in student travel and university-to-university partnerships, while contributing to the international student experience. We welcome applications from candidates who have experience within or outside of the Higher Education sector, as long as they can demonstrate the skills necessary for success in this role.

This position is permanent and full-time. However, we also welcome applications from candidates seeking a flexible work pattern within our necessary service operating hours (10am-4pm)
