**About Us**
At our university, we emphasize a rich student experience. Here, students broaden their horizons, learn new subjects, gain fresh perspectives, and immerse themselves in new experiences within a global community. We attract outstanding students from diverse backgrounds, providing a high-quality education both in the UK and abroad, preparing our graduates to excel in their chosen careers.

Through strategic global partnerships, we offer Lancaster degrees in China, Germany, Ghana, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Our vision is to provide a comprehensive university experience encompassing teaching, research, and engagement. This enhances our reputation as a transnational institution, functioning with interconnected campuses—a global higher education ecosystem presenting a unique offer and brand.

**The Role**
As the Global Experiences Manager, your initial focus will be on income generation programmes, working closely with colleagues in External Relations to:

– Oversee the expansion and business development of our established summer schools, aligning our portfolio with market demand to attract students globally.
– Develop the incoming study abroad programme to increase fee-paying participants while ensuring a balanced exchange.
– Support the broader operations of Global Experiences as our activity levels and student numbers grow.

With a strong user orientation, you will demonstrate a track record of successful delivery. Leveraging your project management and business improvement expertise, you’ll develop our commercial opportunities and enhance student engagement across all our programmes.

**The Team**
The Global Experiences team oversees student mobility and internationalization, which includes:

– Study Abroad
– Summer Schools
– Short Overseas Programmes
– Internationalization and Digital Projects
– Mobility Funding

This is a dynamic team engaged in varied activities throughout the year. Recent years have brought significant changes with Brexit, Turing funding, and Covid, prompting us to innovate and respond to evolving challenges in student mobility.

**What We Are Looking For**
We seek an enthusiastic and proactive role model with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, capable of inspiring others in a busy and complex environment. You should have experience in delivering significant programmes in collaboration with others.

Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as an ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
