Position: Future Student Advisor
Employment Type: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Duration: Fixed Term Role – 12 months
Remuneration: $82,818 – $93,711 (+ 17% superannuation and leave loading)
Location: Kensington NSW (Hybrid Flexible Working)

Why Your Role Matters:
The Future Student Advisor plays a vital role in Future Student Recruitment, responsible for strengthening marketing and recruitment efforts to ensure UNSW is the top choice for both local and international students. As a Future Student Advisor, you will provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely advice to prospective students through various channels and events. Your role involves navigating complex degree programs and admissions policies, offering guidance, and ensuring a clear understanding of academic pathways and requirements.

Who You Are:
To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant degree with extensive experience or equivalent knowledge gained through a combination of education, training, and experience. You must thrive in a high-volume and process-driven environment, working with variable workflow patterns and fixed deadlines. Experience in the tertiary education sector, particularly in key source markets, is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders. Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications and databases such as CRM, is required. A commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives, values, policies, and health and safety responsibilities is also important.
