Join the Strategic Research Funding (International) Team at the University’s central research office, Research and Knowledge Exchange Services (RKES), and seize the chance to make a global impact. The Strategic Research Funding Team at RKES plays a pivotal role in supporting funding applications and building relationships with funders and collaborators.
– **FTE:** 1.0 (35 hours per week)

As a crucial member of the team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to promote international research funding opportunities and support applications from the Strathclyde academic community and University staff. Your role will extend to working with the University’s Strategic Themes, Research Clusters, and International Strategic Partnerships.
Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive, user-friendly information and intelligence about key international funding agencies. As the Funding Officer (International), you will offer guidance and assistance in crafting optimal bid submissions tailored to the specific aims, criteria, and cultures of various funding bodies.
Ideal candidates will have experience in project development, preferably with an international focus and ideally within Higher Education. You must demonstrate energy, initiative, the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
RKES supports a wide range of professional services, including research policies, governance, data management, assessment, REF, contractual agreements, impact funding, public engagement, network development, and more.
