We are currently seeking an Executive Head of Visa Services and Compliance to join the University of Wales Trinity Saint David on a full-time permanent basis. This role requires working 37 hours per week and can be based at our Swansea, Birmingham, or London campus, with flexibility to work from home or other locations as necessary.

As the Executive Head of Visa Services and Compliance, you will provide expert advice to the Senior Management Team on immigration and UKVI compliance. Your responsibilities will include supporting the University in achieving its strategic aims while complying with regulatory requirements, minimizing the need for external professional advice, maintaining full compliance with current immigration regulations, and mitigating potential risks. You will also represent the University and contribute to consultations on immigration and compliance policies initiated by regulatory bodies.

To be considered for this role, you should have a relevant Master’s degree or equivalent education, significant recent experience in an immigration capacity at a senior level, and a thorough understanding of compliance requirements for all visa categories. Experience in leading and managing a professional service team in a complex organization and developing immigration policies and procedures will be advantageous. Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work flexibly and travel as required.
