SUMMARY

Join an energetic International Center aiming to welcome 500 new international students to enhance campus diversity. Reporting to the VP, this role involves coordinating the international office, managing financial and budgetary tasks, handling international student admissions, providing student services, collecting and analyzing data, and managing confidential matters. The position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Diplomatic and tactful international relations are essential. Responsibilities include managing the VP’s meeting calendar, including high-profile international appointments, processing departmental expenditures, and coordinating global agency relationships and logistics. The role also involves preparing correspondence and presentation materials, responding to inquiries on the VP’s behalf, maintaining financial records, and supporting special international affairs projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree in international business or a related field; MBA, Master’s in Linguistics, law, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database software.
– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
– Proactive, discreet, and possessing good judgment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Manage departmental document retention and disposal according to policies.
– Address inquiries about campus internationalization policies and coordinate with relevant staff.
– Communicate announcements to students and staff.
– Advise CIAP personnel on expense procedures.
– Collaborate with College Services and vendors for service delivery.
– Organize VP’s special events, including orientation and VIP hosting.
– Provide administrative support, acting as a contact for the VP’s inquiries.
– Assist in planning and coordinating international student programs.
– Serve as a liaison for international admission processing and assist applicants.
– Conduct research and compile data on international programs for the VP.
– Support admissions processing and handle administrative tasks, including drafting correspondence and preparing reports.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
