We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our current team. What can you anticipate? A supportive and friendly team that knows how to have fun in a fast-paced, dynamic, and professional office. They are committed to maintaining and increasing high standards.

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated, and friendly individual who can handle constantly changing priorities and demands. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in administration are essential. The ideal candidate will provide professional, confidential, proactive, and flexible administrative support to a member of the University Executive Board.

The responsibilities of this role are diverse and interesting. Some of the main ones include:

  • Providing support for effective management of a complex and demanding schedule to ensure efficient use of time
  • Creating valuable travel itineraries for national and international trips
  • Making decisions using experience and discretion to provide immediate support and resolve issues
  • Drafting various correspondence and briefing documents
  • Liaising with colleagues across the University to manage and support events involving internal and external delegates

A high level of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications and business systems, is necessary for this position.

The successful candidate should have experience working in a busy office environment where customer service skills are vital. The ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines is important. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing and managing your own workload while also being flexible to assist other team members.

Education up to A levels or equivalent, as well as English and Maths at GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent), are preferred. Alternatively, a proven track record of significant relevant work experience.

This is a full-time (36.25 hours) permanent position that requires some flexibility to provide coverage during office hours.
