Job Opportunity: Administrative Lead for the University Equality and Inclusion Unit

Are you passionate about promoting equality and inclusion within a vibrant university setting? We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated individual to join our central Equality & Inclusion Unit (EIU) at the University of Leeds. In this role, you’ll lead the administration operations that underpin our efforts to foster a supportive and inclusive environment campus-wide.

Role Overview:
As an Administrative Lead in the EIU, your responsibilities will include managing diaries, organizing meetings, processing supplier payments, and addressing equality-related queries. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Unit, coordinating events, and serving as the first point of contact for inclusion-related inquiries. This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive team dedicated to inclusivity and equality.

Location: Leeds – Main Campus

Contract Type: Ongoing

Interview Dates: Scheduled for 13th or 14th March 2025

Flexible Work Options: While this role is based on campus, there is potential for hybrid work arrangements. We are open to discussing various flexible working options to accommodate your needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong administrative skills and meticulous organizational abilities
  • Capable of working independently and efficiently
  • Experience in meeting management, payment processing, and diary coordination
  • Ability to support the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion with minimal supervision
