Melbourne Education Institute (MEI) is an RTO (Registered Training Organization) located in the CBD that is experiencing rapid growth. We currently have two job openings: Elicos Teacher and Admin Officer.
Role of Elicos Teacher:
Qualities:
- Extensive knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience teaching English as a Second Language in a diverse classroom
- Willingness to learn and engage in professional development
- Effective team player
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching General English levels/courses
- Bachelor’s degree obtained or recognized in Australia, and
- A recognized postgraduate TESOL qualification such as CELTA OR
- Bachelor of Education with a TESOL major or equivalent
Role of RTO Admin:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting team members with general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, photocopying, and phone answering
- Managing student records and enrollments
- Assisting the Training Coordinator with scheduling and coordinating training sessions
- Collecting and reporting evaluation, attendance, and training data
- Accurate and timely data entry into the RTO system
- Assisting the Training Coordinator with maintaining training schedules in the Attendance App
- Handling queries from clients, students, and staff in a professional and timely manner
Skills and Experience:
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent time management
- Maturity, professionalism, and confidence in your abilities
- Proactive problem-solving approach
