Oxford Brookes University

Rewritten:

Oxford Brookes is a forward-thinking institution with a strong commitment to expanding access to higher education. As the Educational Partnerships Development Manager, your main responsibilities will include developing and establishing new partnership opportunities and serving as the primary contact for existing partners. Collaboration with academic departments and professional services will be essential in identifying and implementing new opportunities. Using effective project management strategies, you will lead cross-functional teams, set clear targets, and monitor progress to ensure successful partnerships.

To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills and have experience in managing relationships with external stakeholders. You will be the main point of contact for colleagues within the university and our partners, and your expertise in educational partnerships will enable you to triage and provide effective solutions. The UK Partnerships & Apprenticeships team is part of the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment, and Engagement, a highly skilled and ambitious team dedicated to achieving the university’s goals.

The team collaborates closely with various departments within the university to foster strong relationships. Our offices on the Headington Campus have recently been renovated, providing a modern and flexible working environment. This allows for different ways of working, including collaboration, hybrid meetings, individual workstations, and even a relaxed area with comfortable sofas. This means that you will have opportunities to work in this dynamic and diverse environment, balancing office and remote work.

We understand that potential candidates may hesitate to apply for job positions, but we are aware that the “perfect candidate” does not exist. If you are enthusiastic about joining our team, we encourage you to apply. You might just be the person we are looking for.

For an informal conversation about the role, please reach out to Quin Vermeulen, Head of UK Partnerships & Apprenticeships (via macmailbox@brookes.ac.uk).

Interviews for this position are expected to take place during the week commencing September 4th
