Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving Goals: Strive to meet your pipeline goals, customer satisfaction metrics, and advocacy targets throughout each phase of the student journey. This includes promoting essential student products and services, managing and maintaining leads and successful applications, identifying referral opportunities, and engaging in event and lead generation activities, along with database maintenance.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional service to students, their families, and education providers by participating in planning activities to enhance student engagement. Offer accurate information on admissions, processes, and qualification options in an easily understandable manner. Proactively engage with both students and education providers on a regular basis.
Required Experience:
- Professional Expertise: Background in a sales or customer service-driven environment with a track record of achieving individual and team-based targets.
- Education Sector Insight: Strong knowledge of the education sector and student placement in VET and universities, alongside understanding of immigration requirements and processes.
- Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience as an Education Counsellor or in a similar role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Proficiency in English is required, while fluency in Bangla, Hindi, Punjabi, or any other second language is highly desirable.
Role Purpose:
As an Education Counsellor, you will provide outstanding counselling services to help international students identify institutions that align with their learning and career goals. This includes delivering accurate information and advice on study opportunities, understanding the local education system, culture, and geographic region, assisting with application documentation and enrollment facilitation, and promoting IDP’s products and services.
