One of the main responsibilities of the role is to recruit and advise students who want to participate in the BGSU Austria and Spain signature education abroad programs, faculty-led, affiliate, and exchange, from pre-departure to re-entry. The job also requires monitoring and updating student records via the Terra Dotta Education Abroad software, reviewing student applications, and transitioning them from pending to approved status. Additionally, the role entails advising and supporting students through the course pre-approval and course verification procedures, assessing education abroad transcripts, and co-ordinating education abroad courses and grades with Registration and Records. The applicant will also assist with Education Abroad webpages and inbox management, managing updates to Terra Dotta management systems by producing new programming, and reviewing deposits. Finally, they will be responsible for recruiting students at various programs and events and classroom visits. The deadline for applications is open until the vacancy is filled.
