Gettysburg College - Gettysburg, PA

The Director of the Center for Global Education is responsible for overseeing various global education initiatives, with a focus on curriculum and budgetary leadership. This includes managing global study programs and partnerships, evaluating and assessing global learning goals and outcomes, and supporting curricular and faculty development initiatives related to study abroad experiences. Additionally, the Director works closely with Academic Division leadership to develop and support initiatives that promote internationalization efforts within the curriculum. They also lead and mentor the CGE staff, serve on campus committees, manage the program budget, implement risk management procedures, evaluate and approve programs, collaborate with the Office of International Student Services, champion global education, and support fundraising efforts. Qualified candidates should have a master’s degree in international education or a related field, at least ten years of experience in international education programs in higher education, experience with program partnerships and risk management best practices, strong administrative and financial skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with various constituents.
