About the Role
As Director of Studies, you’ll report to the Academic Director and lead our academic teams in delivering high-quality, cross-cultural educational programs. Your role will include managing academic staff, enhancing student outcomes, and maintaining compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ELICOS and VET programs are delivered to international standards and compliance.
- Manage recruitment, induction, and professional development of a diverse academic staff.
- Collaborate with the Academic Director to develop innovative, globally-informed academic programs.
- Lead academic resources management, including maintaining the Academic Calendar and ensuring smooth student pathways.
- Facilitate meetings and efficiently execute board outcomes, with a focus on international student progress.
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions globally, including universities and TAFE.
- Represent the Academy in strategic planning and leadership initiatives with a global perspective.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree CELTA/DELTA or equivalent with a focus on international education.
- Experience as a Senior Teacher/ADOS in the international student sector.
- Bachelor’s or Post Graduate degree in Education/Teaching/TESOL is desirable.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in academic management in ELICOS and/or VET, with a focus on international students.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage diverse, multinational teams.
- Proven track record in driving quality improvements and innovations beneficial to an international audience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with global stakeholders.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and quality assurance in the international education sector.
