**Director of Program Services**

**Reports to: President**

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **On-Site Staff Management:**
– Recruit, hire, and train on-site staff to ensure that SAI policies and procedures are properly executed.
– Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct regular training sessions and professional development activities, both in person and virtually.

2. **Human Resources Administration:**
– Serve as the HR point of contact for all on-site staff.
– Oversee and track on-site employee vacations, work hours for payroll processing, paycheck distribution, and annual tax document dissemination.
– Track annual payroll costs for on-site staff.

3. **Policy and Procedure Development:**
– Develop and implement company-approved policies and procedures.

4. **Risk Management:**
– Act as the risk manager for health and safety matters on-site.
– Assess risks with feedback from local staff regarding housing, neighborhoods, emergency situations, and overall safety concerns affecting students.
– Act as the elevated emergency contact 24/7 for on-site staff during program sessions, advising staff on student health, safety, and wellbeing issues.
– Serve as the primary authorized individual for ISOS approvals.
– Develop policies and procedures to ensure student safety.

5. **Long-Term Planning:**
– Contribute to long-term planning and develop solutions to deliver excellent on-site services.
– Forecast housing and staffing needs based on enrollment trends.

6. **Interdepartmental Communication:**
– Ensure regular communication between on-site staff, Admissions, and Academic Relations.
– Liaise between European and US operations to foster strong connections and collaboration.

7. **Academic Relations Support:**
– Communicate frequently with the Academic Relations team regarding host school and partner updates.
– Support the Academic Relations team with relationship development, including organizing site visits.
– Relay relevant partner institution information to the on-site team.

8. **Program Development:**
– Collaborate with each on-site location and the FLP team to enhance on-site services, including GLC, Service Certificate, VIVA programming, and new initiatives.

9. **Financial Oversight:**
– Approve all financial budgets for on-site VIVA experiences and payment requests for on-site operational expenses.
– Coordinate payments and expense reporting with the Controller.

10. **Partnership & Collaboration:**
– Communicate with host schools to develop and maintain strong relationships.
– Ensure consistent student communication and share resources when appropriate, such as housing.
– Work with local staff in each location to maintain positive relationships and collaboration on health and safety matters.

This role requires EU citizenship and will report directly to the President of SAI Programs
