Birmingham Newman University is seeking applicants for the role of Director of Postgraduate Studies in the School of Business and Law. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of postgraduate qualifications, with a focus on the international market.
In addition, the Director will work with the Associate Dean to establish apprenticeship programs. This position is part of the senior management team and will play a key role in shaping the academic offerings and strategic direction of the school.
The Director of Postgraduate Studies will manage programs tailored to the needs of international students and the global employment market. This will involve collaborating with international partners and agents to attract and retain a diverse student body. The Director will also help lead the school’s move into apprenticeships.
Building relationships with industry and academic partners is a crucial aspect of the role. These collaborations will ensure the relevance of the programs and enhance the employability of graduates. The Director will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
