**Organization**
At Kansas State University, the director plays a pivotal role in leading and nurturing a dynamic team dedicated to offering comprehensive services to the university’s international students and scholars. This role involves providing vision, innovation, advocacy, and guidance to enhance the services for K-State’s diverse international community and to support the university’s internationalization and global engagement objectives. The director is a key member of the leadership team within the Office of International Programs, reporting directly to the Associate Provost for International Programs.
The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office serves as the primary liaison for immigration advising, cultural adaptation, compliance for international students and scholars, and supports networking, academic connections, and collaboration with university departments, government agencies, and community advocates.
