Job Description:
The Director of International Recruitment & Communications
(IR&C) will lead the international recruitment strategies to
identify, recruit, and enroll qualified new and transferring
international students from abroad and within the US. This role
develops, manages, coordinates, implements, and evaluates the
international student recruitment activities at Minnesota State
Mankato using data analytics and market research to effectively
grow the international student population and number of countries
represented. The Director of IR&C manages the communication
plans, marketing, and I-20 issuance process along with the staff
who directly work in these areas.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus four years of experience or Master’s
Degree plus three years of experience working in international
education particularly recruitment and communication (Conferred on
an official transcript at the time of application). - Advanced knowledge of F-1 student visa regulations related to
recruitment and I-20 issuance. - Supervisory and management experience.
- Demonstrated budgetary experience.
- Ability to represent the Kearney International Center related
to university initiatives in recruitment, communication, and
marketing. - Ability to serve as Designated School Office (DSO). must be US
Citizen or Permanent Resident.

- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and
learning environment. - Demonstrated administrative, organization, and project
management skills, including the ability to manage multiple
projects and activities simultaneously. - Bilingual, with excellent oral and written communication skills
in a language other than English.
